After a great weekend at the Van Life Celebration Show, I headed here to get organised, the kitchen needed a complete overhaul after fitting the new dishwasher, and I finally found space for the EcoFlow fridge in the garage. Alongside sorting the cupboards and testing new BBQ rubs, I also installed the Vanguardian motorhome alarm system. Later in the video I take it out for a proper test, trying every door, window and cupboard to see how sensitive it really is, and even giving it a “bedtime test” to check it doesn’t trigger while I’m asleep. While exploring the site I found the usual facilities, showers, toilets, laundry and chemical disposal but also something I’ve never seen before on a campsite: a full tennis court. It’s adults-only, no dogs, and only open through the summer months, but for just £12 a night (plus £5 for electric) it’s a great little stopover if you’re passing through.
