The Irish offense came alive in the second half with explosive scoring plays of 48, 34, and 54 yards. CJ Carr completed 13 of 16 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns before exiting late in the third quarter with the Irish firmly in control. Jeremiyah Love led the rushing attack with 94 yards, including a highlight-reel 48-yard touchdown run that saw him break multiple tackles and maintain his balance before sprinting to the end zone. On defense, Jaiden Ausberry paced Notre Dame’s effort with eight tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and two tackles for loss. The Irish held Navy to just 228 total yards, including only 22 passing yards, while matching a program record by finishing the game without a penalty — the first time since a 1997 win at LSU.
