Fury is our first war movie reaction. Toy and Tori expected the movie to be difficult to watch, but they were totally unprepared for what they ended up witnessing. "Fury," directed by David Ayer and released in 2014, is a gritty World War II drama centered on a Sherman tank crew led by battle-hardened Sergeant Don "Wardaddy" Collier (played by Brad Pitt). Set in April 1945, as the Allies make their final push into Nazi Germany, the film showcases the brutal realities of tank warfare. The crew, including Boyd "Bible" Swan (Shia LaBeouf), Trini "Gordo" Garcia (Michael Peña), and Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis (Jon Bernthal), is joined by rookie Norman Ellison (Logan Lerman), who is thrust into the chaos of battle. As they face overwhelming odds and navigate the horrors of war, the crew forms a tight bond, exemplifying themes of brotherhood and sacrifice. The film's intense battle scenes, realistic portrayal of tank combat, and exploration of the psychological toll of war make "Fury" a compelling depiction of the final days of World War II.
