They use family recipes and they have daily specials that rotate. The day I went, there was fried chicken and smothered okra which I ordered along with a smothered catfish plate. The food was home-cooked tasting and outstanding. Again, one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans. They are some of the most amazing cooked oysters you’ll ever eat, and they are without a doubt one of the best bites of food in all of New Orleans and the United States!
