Gordon Murray gave me a guided tour around his new GMA T.33 supercar and explains how it differs from the more extreme T.50 supercar he launched back in August 2020. Powered by a bespoke N/A Cosworth V12 that revs to 11,100rpm and produces 615ps at 10,250rpm, the 1090kg T.33 has the makings of being one of the purest supercars of all time. The Lotus Elan Sprint was one of the fastest accelerating cars to 60mph on sale in the UK when it was launched back in 1971 but what's it like to drive today and what have I learnt about Elans from owning one for the past nearly 38 years?
