They created the unique Quidditch outfits inspired by rugby, made all of our favorite accessories including Luna Lovegood’s Gryffindor lion head (which Evanna Lynch herself helped create) and Hermione’s Time Turner, and were also responsible for making Hagrid look tall. Tamime was also the brains behind the modern Hogwarts uniforms that were completely redesigned for “Prisoner of Azkaban”, and she chose Harry’s Quidditch jersey number, which was inspired by a superstar soccer player. It’s not only the costume department that had some say in how each character looked. Bonnie Wright was one of the major fashion inspirations behind her character, Ginny, and it was because of Daniel Radcliffe that Harry Potter never had green eyes-- but not in the way you might think. Rupert Grint was actually pretty into fashion, but he had fun making Ron Weasley into a disheveled teenager with no fashion sense. Meanwhile, Emma Watson wasn’t very into clothing-- until they put that iconic Yule Gown on her and everything changed.
