The Defence Secretary has said the Strategic Defence Review (SDR) is “not about cuts”, amid concerns the plans will be funded at the expense of existing programmes. John Healey said the Government has “already committed the funds” for the 62 recommendations outlined in the review, as MPs scrutinised the proposals on Monday.
