About

I repair neglected power equipment. This channel was started because I found a lack of good content regarding portable generator repair and wanted to document some of the things I came across to help others dealing with similar issues. These videos are detailed and long, but would rather leave the details in to help those who are learning. Do what I do at your own risk. Generator voltages are lethal. Small engines can cause serious injury. Gasoline is explosive and moving parts can cause serious injury. Always use power equipment outside. This is not an instructional video but meant for entertainment. I am not a trained small engine professional or certified in generator repair. No information contained in this video shall create any expressed or implied warranty or guarantee of any particular result. Video Description

A subscriber from South Carolina sent us this EU2000i to take a look at. It is smoking when under load and having problems powering a load. Is it an easy fix or does the engine require a rebuild? Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors. Recently I have been using Simple Green PRO HD with good results. #GeneratorRepair #Generator #SmallEngineRepair #SmallEngine #DIY #Fixed #Troubleshooting #HowTo #hondapower Alternator, Blow By, Blow-By, Blowby, Broken Rings, Burning Oil, Compression Test, Cylinder Hone, EU1000i, EU18i, EU200i, EU20i, EU2200i, EU30is, EU3200i, EU32i, EU55is, EU6500is, EU7000is, End Gap, Fixed, Generator Maintenance, Generator Not Working, Generator, Hertz, Honda, Hondabond, How To, How to Fix Generator, How-To, Leakdown Test, Load Test, Low Oil Sensor, Low Oil Shutdown, Oil Change, Oil Seal, Portable Generator Repair, Power Quality, Repair, Ringland, Rings, Small Engine Repair, Small Engine, Smoking, Stepper Motor, Stuck Rings, THD, Timing Belt, Timing, Troubleshooting, Valve Stem Seal, Engine Rebuild,
