In today's video Marcus Cribb and I are in Spain to walk the battlefield of García Hernández. . .It was the site of a relatively small but incredible battle during the Peninsular War. Here the cavalry of the King's German Legion did the impossible - they broke two French Infantry squares. This battlefield is hard to find as the maps dont correlate to the landscape very well and also there are no signs or monuments to get your bearings. But it is a lovely spot and worth a visit if you get the chance.
