Wildfire season has hit B.C. with a fury. As crews fight to contain the flames, we want to take a look at some of the work that was historically done to make forest floors more resilient to fire. For decades, the Indigenous practice of cultural burning was banned. Now, that traditional knowledge is being revived. CBC’s Brady Strachan got rare access to the frontline of one of those burns.
