How do I find my ISBN imprint? KDP is asking for my ISBN imprint, what is that? | Self-Publishing

When you are uploading your print book to KDP and input your ISBN that you own (see half of my already published videos on why you should own your ISBN) you will be asked for the publishing imprint. If you own your ISBN, the agency that issued it should have the information listed for you as to what your “imprint” is. Whether you have your own LLC or not, you have an imprint name. For some it is just their pen name, for some, it is their publishing company LLC. For U.S.-based authors, Bowker issues your ISBNs and they have a very specific location on their website where you can find your imprint. I’ll go through the steps to show you how to find this in today’s video. Head over to Bowker to check your information: Bowker : My Identifiers : My Profile Data : My Company At the very bottom of the page, there is a box that has exactly what I need. I’m starting further down the screen so you aren’t seeing my personal mailing address. At the bottom of the page on the right, you will see a text box specifically to answer for this. Amazon KDP customers here is your imprint. I am going to copy this text and paste it exactly into KDP. And there you go. That is how you find your imprint to be able to publish your print book on Amazon KDP with your own ISBN.
