How can we explain empathy to kids? In her endearing talk, 9-year-old Maple shares stories of love and laughter so children can understand empathy, and learn how to connect with, and understand others better. Maple is a 9-year-old student at West Point Grey Academy in Vancouver. An artist at heart, she likes to sing, dance, and draw anime characters. She is also an avid reader who enjoys comics and graphic novels. Maple has her own YouTube channel where she features amusing and informative videos that she produces herself.
