How Much Power Can a Gum Wrapper Handle?

I put a gum wrapper through a few extreme tests to see how true it is now you can use a gum wrapper to jump a high amperage fuse or complete a circuit like in the movies. To my surprise the gum wrapper held an extreme amount of amperage, I was very impressed to say the least. For the test I just use an ordinary gum wrapper which is just about 30 thousands of an inch thick, very very thin. Tell Me! have you ever used a gum wrapper to get out of a sticky situation? The idea from this came not only from the movies but the fact that I have used gum wrappers to jump fuses in the past on some pretty high amperage applications out of pure necessity.
