As of release, Kat holds a world record sweep for the Any% (No Intro) category on all difficulties, along with also holding the world record for Any% (Full Game) on Inferno. Resident Evil 3 Remake on Inferno is not just brutal and unfair casually, but even more so as a speedrun. This is a route that has had many hours poured into it, refining to make something like this possible. Watch Kat bend this game over her knee utilizing movement tech such as stair skating, quick turning, dodging, shift boosting, and more. She also takes advantage of a method that resets your Difficulty Adjustment value to the minimum, performs a bunch of manipulation on enemies to inform and adjust their movements, and takes a TON of very tight lines. While my video with Frit on Resident Evil 2 Remake attempted to inspire others to check out the game and speedrun, I can't imagine this Inferno run makes much progress in that way. #ResidentEvil #RE3Remake #Speedrun
