Video Description

Quick and dirty video on how to tell what the PH of your paper is. Cyanotypes are very sensitive to PH and some papers can be very expensive, you can use this method to see if any other paper at hobby stores is suitable to coat with cyanotype chemistry. Also checking the PH of your water is a good idea if you are going to use it for developing cyanotypes, 5 to 6 is ideal and if it is higher than 6 add a small amount of vinegar to adjust the PH down for best results. You could also use aquarium PH up or down if you happen to have that.
