To maintain optimum performance, your Dyson Airstrait™ straightener needs regular care and maintenance. Discover how to quickly clean and maintain your Dyson Airstrait™ straightener. To keep it working at its best we recommend regular cleaning of your machine for optimum performance. We recommend cleaning the filter once a month by soaking in warm soapy water for 30 minutes followed by rinsing under running water, cleaning off any stubborn debris with your fingers. The thermal control diffusers, located on the arms of your machine, can be easily removed by sliding the diffusers away from the machine. We recommend soaking the diffusers in warm, soapy water for 30 minutes, then rinsing under running water. Use a cloth, brush or your fingers to clean off any stubborn debris. Leave all parts to fully dry before refitting to your machine. The tension bars located on the arms of your machine can be cleaned with a clean soft-bristled brush to remove any debris.
