Skirt measurement formula Main fabric = (Full waist measurement + 2cm seam allowance x your chosen length + 5cm hem allowance). You can lengthen or shorten these measurements according to your preference. Lining = Formula as above but cut the lining length 10cm shorter than your main fabric. Waistband front = (Half waist measurement + 2cm seam allowance x elastic width + 1.5cm seam allowance) Doubled to fold. Waistband back = (Full waist measurement + 2cm seam allowance x elastic width + 1.5cm seam allowance) Doubled to fold.
