Go for classic neutral tones that never go out of style 2. If you are looking for a trench coat for petite ladies, I recommend a shorter trench coat finishing above or just under the knee for a more flattering silhouette. 3. If you are taller then a longer length trench coat style is more elongating and you can get away with oversized and shoulder padded styles 4. (How to tie trench coat belt) Don’t do the expected and buckle up your trench coat belt! Wrap your trench coat over the front and then use the trench coat belt tie to tie a trench coat knot.
