Rebuilding a 4x4 Toyota solid front axle knuckle is actually pretty easy, but it is a long and messy job. Today I'll show you how to replace the wheel bearings, knuckle bearings, all oil seals and felt/rubber seals and re-grease everything as good as new. This applies to the 79-85 Toyota Pickup (US), 84-85 4Runner, Land Cruiser FJ40 & FJ55 (from 1975 on) FJ60 and FJ62. (The FJ80/FZJ80 Land Cruiser are slightly different and I have a link to that knuckle rebuild below in the description.)
