900hp Turbo S v 950hp R8 v 1,000hp GT-R: DRAG RACE

We’ve got a Porsche 911 Turbo S going up against a Nissan GT-R and an Audi R8, but they’re all putting out a whole lot more power than they normally would! Let’s start with the Audi R8. Normally it comes equipped with a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can put down 620hp and 580Nm. However, it’s had a twin-turbo added to it, and as a result, it can now produce an incredible 950hp and 800Nm! It still weighs in at around 1,595kg, and with the tune, it costs £135,000. Next up we have the GT-R. It’s packing a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6. Normally you’d expect it to put down 550hp and 620Nm of torque, however, it’s had a whole load of work done to it, and it can now produce 1,000hp and 1,100Nm! It’s a fair bit heavier than the R8, at 1,860kg, and it comes in at around £125,000. Then finally we have the 911 Turbo. It’s still powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six, however, the power output has been increased from 650hp & 800Nm to 888hp and 1,000Nm! However, the car was originally bought well above the asking price, so even though the tune costs less than the other cars, the total price of the car is over £206,000!! So how will this one play out? The Porsche may have the least power, but will the epic launch system propel it to victory? Or could one of the other two snatch it?
