HTTP Requests - Episode 11.1 | Apps Script ~ URL Fetch Service

Hey Coders! HTTP requests are a way to communicate to a server from your own computer. When you want a website displayed on your browser, you issue what's called a GET request to get and render the website's HTML code, stored somewhere on a server. Likewise, if you want to post new data to a server somewhere, let's say you're adding a status update to your Facebook, you will issue a POST request to Facebook's servers. In order to navigate the internet programmatically, you're going to have to understand how to make HTTP requests.
