Research shows that education improves the lives of individuals and society as a whole in every possible way. But unfortunately there are still millions of children all over the world who still have no access to education. But I think that we can do a little something to help. This Sunday 4th October at 10am which is World Teachers’ Day, I will sit down live on YouTube and read every single word in the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate dictionary. But why? I’ve teamed up with the charity Pencils of Promise who build schools in some of the poorest countries in the world, and if we raise $50,000 we can build a school, with classrooms, and toilets, and teachers. And Merriam-Webster will donate a reference suite of dictionaries to the new school. There are three reasons I have chosen to work with Pencils of Promise: 100% of your donation goes to the project 100% local leadership 100% operational integrity So on Sunday while I’m reading the dictionary I will ask you to give generously, and help to change lives.
