It's a really special place with one of the most beautiful and unique cultures in the Sahel region (Sahara desert). If one thing is important to the Mauritanian people, it is the CAMEL. For thousands of years, that animal has been one of the largest sources of food and transportation. So I had an idea. I wanted to give back to the lovely people here because they have been so hospitable to me. I went to a camel market, purchased a camel for $450, and surprised an entire village with it.
