WiLL wasn’t just a car brand—it was an ambitious cross-industry marketing experiment launched by Toyota to attract younger buyers. Partnering with major Japanese companies, the WiLL initiative extended far beyond cars. There was WiLL-branded consumer electronics, alcohol, candy, stationery, bicycles, and even travel services! The WiLL Vi was Toyota's somewhat misguided attempt to meet the desires of young car buyers. The Vi featured exaggerated curves, converging planes, an arched beltline, and a backward-slanting rear windshield! This is an odd car for sure—but it’s just so different that I kinda love it.
