I started by repairing an old axe that had been waiting for attention. Then I went out to collect fresh maple sap — spring is in full swing, and the trees are full of life. The main project of the day was bringing light into the shelter. I ran wiring through the dugout, installed outlets, set up light fixtures, and connected the system. What happened next completely changed the atmosphere inside. The shelter came to life.
