A real life robot that will be buildable and buyable home robot. The story begins when we tried to build a humanoid robot to learn how to use things like a 3D printer and motors. After made late nights we decided to build a robotics startup and leverage our AI robot knowledge to build a sophisticated product! We knew very little about robots at the time, but by the end of this process we were masters at hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, and physical AI. Our robot is very loosely based off R2-D2 because we wanted a familiar and cute robot design that could still work as a robot butler. The robot's name is Sourccey, and he is the future of home robotics, one that’s open-source and accessible.
