Change your car with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Change-Your-Car-1206 Mat’s flown over to Sweden, and he’s had the opportunity to get his hands on the Koenigsegg CC850! But this is no normal review - he’s visiting the Koenigsegg headquarters and he’s getting hands-on with the car with Koenigsegg’s CEO & Founder, Christian Von Koenigsegg! So let’s take a closer look at this incredible manual hypercar. Starting with the design, it’s absolutely timeless. It’s a homage to the very first Koenigsegg, the CC8S, and on the outside, that’s more than clear to see. Everything on the exterior serves a purpose, with absolutely no fakery to be found anywhere. There’s a retractable wing around the back, and a huge central exhaust pipe. On the inside, you’ll find a truly luxurious, old-school interior. There are super weighty stalks on either side of the steering wheel, and throughout the cabin, the only materials you’ll find are carbon, metal, leather or Alcantara! There’s also wood, which is reserved just for the gear stick. Ultimately, there’s very little to complain about when it comes to the quality of the interior. Mat found that the leather seats don’t have cooling, but we think he was just being awkward… The CC850 is powered by an almighty 5-litre twin-turbo V8. It’s the same engine used in the Jesko, but in this edition, it features a 3D-printed titanium exhaust. When running on E85, it can produce 1,385hp, while on regular fuel, it can still produce 1,100hp. This power is sent to the rear wheels only, and it only weighs 1,385kg - giving it a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio! What’s more, this is the world’s first combustion engine with no flywheel, while also having no traditional friction clutch or a torque converter - but it can still be driven as a manual! Christian’s going to explain how it works to Mat in this video, and it really has to be seen to be believed! Only 70 CC850s will be produced, and of course, they're all already sold! But will it be the best Koenigsegg Mat has ever driven? You’ll need to stick with him in this video to see for yourself!
