After seeing how much airflow gets lost in long runs of flex duct, I decided to run hard ducting to all the major tools in the shop using 4” PVC sewer and drain pipe. This isn’t a step-by-step build video; it’s more of a look at the why, the cost, and how well it actually works. It’s a budget install, on a budget dust collector, and it performs better than you’d think.
