Thousands of students study in illegal libraries built in private basements. These basements don’t have proper ventilation and many have only one entry and exit. - The lanes they walk by are filled with potholes. They flood every monsoon. There are electrical wires all over these narrow lanes which light up at the slightest overload or rainfall. - Three students from UP, Bihar, and Kerala lost their lives by drowning in the basement of a library run by an acclaimed coaching center. - What can be done to make sure that we do not forget this tragedy and the protest by thousands of aspirants at the expense of their precious time?
