The new trains are manufactured by Spanish railway giants Talgo, who have made some iconic trains in their time - but their recent efforts have been dogged by poor build quality and some shockingly rough rides on the Talgo Avril sets running in Spain. This is the first Talgo to run in Germany since the old sleepers were discontinued in 2009.
