To do this, all you need is Bitter Divorce, the wand found within Auntie Ethels’ Acrid Workshop, and you’ll also need the corpse of Connor Vinderblad found outside the Gnarled Teahouse. Once you have both these items, place Connor beside Auntie Ethel and use the wand first on Conor, and then on Auntie Ethel. Miraculously, this will revive both of them, and a cutscene will immediately trigger. In this cutscene Connor appears to be shouting for Mayrina and then stumbles towards you to attack you. And miraculously Auntie Ethel also is revived! In my playthrough she shouted some dialogue and then began to wander towards the fireplace to go hide. However, I killed her again along with Conor and noticed that her corpse had refreshed items. So I used this to my advantage by slaying Auntie Ethel over and over and each time her corpse had 2 new Elixirs of Hill Giant Strength, allowing me to quickly fill up on these Elixirs for free. Amazingly, Bitter Divorce and Conor’s Corpse can be used to revive any target - not just Auntie Ethel. I tried it on a number of other monsters in an attempt to dupe the hag hair and other items, but it didn’t seem to work the same way it did with Auntie Ethel. But I’m sure there are other amazing use-cases waiting to be discovered. If you’re going to try this, just make sure not to talk with Mayrina after you defeat Auntie Ethel because Bitter Divorce can be transformed into Second Marriage by triggering her cinematic and then the trick won’t work. A surefire way to avoid this is just to not save Mayrina. Of course I also tried to get infinite Hag Hair from Auntie Ethel, but getting the hair involves letting Ethel live, so immediately upon completing the quest Auntie Ethel teleports away so we can’t slay her again. It would be pretty amazing to get more than 1 hair from the hag, but it looks like that’s what we’re stuck with. But I bet there’s other targets we can revive to get really cool stuff that have yet to be discovered. And next up, did you know that you can cast Ray of Sickness at the Booze tub in the goblin camp to poison it? Once it's poisoned, the goblins will all have a toast and a large number of them will instantly die. Most players that know about poisoning the goblin camp probably go up to it and use the combine menu to place poison into it, but that requires you to be right next to it. Using Ray of Sickness allows you to get the high ground advantage just in case a fight breaks out afterwards. Plus it’s a secret use for Ray of Sickness that most players probably never thought about. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for the Duergar Cask in the Underdark since it’s immune to poison - but there’s no real need to poison it from a distance anyway. And next up is how to duplicate any item that you can equip. To do this, you’ll need a Trickery Domain Cleric - Shadowheart would work here - and once level 2 you’ll be able to cast Invoke Duplicity to create an illusion. This Illusion has all your Trickery Domain Cleric’s equipped gear at the time of casting the spell. This means you can select the Illusion, open their inventory, and unequip the duplicate item gear to give to your party. It’s basically the same as stealing a summon’s equipment - just hit the eye when opening their character sheet to immediately grab their gear as fast as possible, and place it into another party member’s empty equipment slot. It has to be an empty equipment slot for this to work. And that’s it - you can now duplicate any equippable item in the entire game. So for those of you complaining that all my build guides use the same gear you have no excuse now - go use the same gear on all your characters.
