Our old utility van, which used to haul everything — from spare parts to construction materials to a remote forest farm — eventually broke down: the engine died, and the vehicle turned into a storage unit with the engine sitting inside the cabin. After inspection, it became clear — there was nothing left to repair. But we just couldn’t bring ourselves to scrap it. Too many memories.
