First off, they help me bypass the issue of lower megapixel sensors on my iPhone's native camera app. By having ultrawide and telephoto attachments for my primary 48mp smartphone camera, I can access the same quality of photos & videos at focal lengths that wouldn't be possible if I relied solely on my iPhone's built in tech. Secondly, I was actually pretty impressed with the side-by-side comparisons between the photography and especially videography captured on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with the Reeflex G-Series lenses and that captured on my Sony A7IV professional camera. For the video examples, I honestly have a hard time telling the difference. But you can be the judge.
