When I was in Yorkshire, I visited the most beautiful Georgian country house – Constable Burton Hall which has been home to the Wyvill family since the sixteenth century. The hall was once an Elizabethan house, but it was remodelled in the Georgian style in 1768. Now, D’Arcy and Imogen Wyvill have updated the interiors – to combine comfortable family life with Georgian splendour.
