About

We are the national institute for data science and artificial intelligence. We believe data science and artificial intelligence will change the world. We are pioneers; training the next generation of leaders, shaping the public conversation, and pushing the boundaries of these sciences for the public good. The Turing is buzzing with activity, from new research collaborations to lectures and workshops. Video Description

The Policy Priority Inference (PPI) app is a responsive AI tool from The Alan Turing Institute's PPI research programme that models the complex causal link between government expenditure and multidimensional policy outcomes. It allows you to interpret and analyse your data through a simple, clear interface without the need for any coding, and providing interactive visualisations of the outputs. We have developed a set of step-by-step animated tutorials on how to use the app, which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuD_SqLtxSdXMJpqEkBmwwJ2jzFhjqOkN Policy Priority Inference (PPI) is a research programme from the Modelling for Policy theme in the Turing's Public Policy Programme, that aims at modelling the causal link between government expenditure and policy outcomes, while accounting for the multidimensionality and complexity of development. You can find out more about PPI here: https://www.turing.ac.uk/research/research-projects/policy-priority-inference
