SpaceX has been a disruptive force in the space ecosystem, pushing the limits with big goals and challenging the status quo. SpaceX President and COO, Gwynne Shotwell, sits down with Kari A. December 20, 2024, marks the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the U.S. Space Force – the first military service created in 72 years. This event is a time to celebrate the Space Force and its Guardians, reflect on how the service came about, and discuss where it goes from here. John W. “Jay” Raymond, first Chief of Space Operations; Congressman Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee; and Gwynne Shotwell, President and COO of SpaceX. They will be joined by other space leaders and next-generation Guardians who will participate in panel discussions on the origins of the Space Force, its people and partnerships, and the capabilities needed to enable its success.
