Apple's latest iPhone replaces the outgoing iPhone SE as the cheapest iPhone in the lineup. With an increase in price to $599 - you get a few new features: Apple's latest chip, the A18, Apple Intelligence, Action button, and additional storage over the SE. In addition, this is the first iPhone featuring Apple's in-house built modem, the C1. My impression is that it's a great basic iPhone with some strange cost-cutting measures, such as the exclusion of MagSafe. I'd say the price could be lower, but all in all, if you need a basic iPhone, this one will fit the bill.
