Like we mentioned above, Uluwatu is mainly known for it's surf beaches and that's understandable - compared to something like Canggu the beach is WAY nicer in this region. Hand in hand with that is the cool beach club scene in Bali, it's cranking in Uluwatu so we checked out Sundays Beach Club. As far as beach clubs go in Bali, Sundays is kind of unique because it actually is about the Beach - rather than being on the beach, but mainly focussing on a swimming pool scene. Uluwatu Temple was kind of underwhelming for us, maybe it would have been better if we visited during one of the times when there was a show or dancing on so we could experience a bit more of the culture though? The setting is stunning overlooking the coastline and beaches, but without being able to go inside an actual temple it just feels a bit overhyped for us.
