I've been visiting Magotho for ten years now and can honestly say, it's one of the most beautiful and productive game viewing areas in all of Botswana... We see plenty of elephants and even brave a deep water-crossing to get to the other side of the Mbudi Channel in order to see a pride of lions with seven cubs. Never walk through deep water, or even shallow stretches if you can't see the bottom clearly, because there are crocodiles right throughout the Okavango Delta! There's also a big risk of getting stuck if you don't know which line to take, so make sure you see someone else cross successfully before attempting it yourself.
