We are Vera & Christian and we love our Land Rovers. We are hobby YouTubers and we live in Germany in a tiny village with a population of 600 and we are car and 4x4 enthusiasts. We do as much work as we possibly can on our cars by ourself. Our goal is, not to have any Land Rover mechanic ever touch one of our cars and so far we are successful. We build up a well-equipped workshop and we have some skills to use it. In this week’s episode, we get our black Land Rover Discovery 4 — “Prince Mall Crawl” — ready for sale. It’s a great car, a 3.0 L SDV6 HSE with only 150 000 km, but before we can pass it on to a new owner, a few repairs are needed. The main problem: a clonking noise in the front suspension. We fix that by replacing the lower control-arm bushings, and the noise is gone! But during the test drive, we still notice some vibration in the steering wheel when braking — not good if you want to sell a luxury car. So, new brakes it is. While we’re at it, we also do an oil change and replace some bulbs — not on Prince Mall Crawl this time, but on our “Prince Charming” Discovery 4.
