We take the role of Tony Cipriani in his return to Liberty City, the timeline is a prequel to Grand Theft Auto III, set in the year 1998. Liberty City is mostly the same, but the premillennial grittiness and corruption is worn more on its sleeve in this title. This PSP exclusive GTA game is often overlooked by fans of the series, hell it’s one of the few older titles that hasn’t seen a remake (yet), so I wanted to take a look back at this game and reveal how it’s actually one of the darkest and most thematically rich GTA games in the whole series.
