His most famous work, The Rule of St. Benedict was filled with rules and processes and, well, life hacks that are STILL used today by monks and religious all over the world, nearly 1500 YEARS after it was written! His intense holiness and excellent rules for life made him the Father of Western Monasticism. Today, I am thrilled to welcome back Fr. Augustine Wetta, a Benedictine monk, author, teacher, and former surfer and rugby player. Fr. Wetta radiates joy and is sharing with us some “rules for life” that he has found help him live a happier, holier life. We talk about his struggles with early onset Parkinson’s Disease, his coming to Jesus, the most OUTRAGEOUS ways St. Thérèse of Lisieux has sent him roses, and how to carry on during tough times in your vocation.
