This city has been on our list of must-visit places since long before we knew each other and we were excited to finally spend some time here. Seville Spain is a romantic European city with tons of history. It’s located in the Andalusian region of southwest Spain and people have been living in the area for over 2800 years. It was ruled by the Romans for 700 years and then by the Moors for 800 years. Even the Vikings ruled it for 40 days in the year 844! Spain reclaimed it in the late 1400s under Queen Isabela. Today, Seville is a popular place to visit and live due to its ancient history, rich culture, and modern amenities. We felt right at home meandering through the streets, eating at restaurants, shopping for food, and enjoying tapas at street-side cafes. In this video, we’ll share our first impressions from our exploratory trip and take a look at the pros & cons of Seville as a place to live abroad.
