The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified existing gender inequalities, with women still doing three times more unpaid work in the home than men. An IKEA study found that 1/3 of women say their careers have been held back because they do more in the home than men. Which is why IKEA worked with a relationship expert to launch a game on Instagram Stories that can help start a global conversation about equality at home. This game helps couples (or flatmates) talk about and address any imbalance in the home. We must educate each other, and we must educate women all over the world!
