Before the so-called 'Doomsday Mom' was sentenced on July 25, Judge Justin Beresky addressed the court and Lori Daybell, saying she left "a wake of destruction" that stretched multiple states, and that she should "never be released from prison." Judge Beresky's statement came after Brandon Boudreux, Larry Woodcock, Kay Woodcock and others made victim impact statements to the courtroom. The statements were at times emotional. Daybell was sentenced to two life sentences in Arizona in connection with the crimes she was found guilty of here.
