Celebrate with Matcha Strawberry Snowskin Mooncakes filled with custard and strawberries :) Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋节 has been a Chinese tradition for over 3,000 years and is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month in the Lunar calendar. On this day, the moon is at its' fullest 🌕 And ceremonies are held to honor the moon and give thanks for the harvest. To celebrate, families gather to feast, light paper lanterns and indulge in mooncakes! Traditionally, mooncakes are made with sweet lotus seed paste and salted egg yolk. In this video, I’ll show you a modern twist with Snowskin Mooncakes. The snowskin is soft and chewy, similar to mochi, and filled with custard and fresh strawberries.
