This channel was started because I found a lack of good content regarding portable generator repair and wanted to document some of the things I came across to help others dealing with similar issues. A local subscriber asked me to have a look at his generator. Last time he ran it under load, the engine was bogging and smoke coming from the exhaust. He is assuming the worst as he included a full engine gasket kit. Lets try to reproduce the problem and go from there. Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NON-CORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors.
