Mexican Senate President calls for California to be ceded from US

Sky News host James Morrow has slammed calls from Mexican Senate President Gerardo Fernandez Norona for southern California to be ceded to Mexico. “In Mexico, well, they’re watching with great interest,” Mr Morrow said. “The President of the Mexican Senate [has suggested] that maybe southern California should go back to Mexico. “Yes, they want to go back to the 1830s to the borders drawn by the Spanish.”
