The Rainbow History Project was founded in 2000 and its mission is to collect, preserve, and promote an active knowledge of the history, arts, and culture of metropolitan Washington DC’s diverse LGBTQ+ communities. Our main projects include: • Oral History Interviews • Walking Tours and Social Geography • Panel Presentations • Archiving documents, manuscripts, and photographs at our partner, the D.C.
