Over 500 tons of airplane plummeting like a falling boulder before pulling up to try landing again later on. Emirates flight EK39 circled around for nearly an hour after this incident before the pilot 'dared' make another attempt to land, in much easier conditions when the strong gusts and squally rain had subsided (01:24 in the video). 28 December 2023.
